2010 Festival Updates: Del Fest, All Good, Jazz Fest, Coachella and Wanee

Music Festival season is now officially in full swing. Two festivals took place last weekend. The Allman Brothers Band's annual Wanee Festival in Live oak Fla. and the annual Coachella festival in Indio CA. Reviews and photos provided below by Jambase.

Updates:

The 42nd annual New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival kicks off this Friday 4/23 and runs through May 2nd. There are way too many bands to even begin to tell you about. Click the links for all you need to know about Jazz Fest. Check out Jambase' 2010 Jazz Fest survival guide.

5 weeks until the 3rd annual Del Fest: Daily schedules and late night bands have been announced. Visit the Del Fest 2010 line up page  for all of the latest info about what's going on at Del.

2010 All good Festival added Grace Potter and The Nocturnals, Moonshine breakfast with Keller and The Keels. Late night bands have also been announced. Lotus, The New Deal, Yonder Mountain String Band, Bassnectar, and Stanton Moore's Garage a Trois. Stay tuned for daily schedules and other useful information about the 2010 All Good Festival.

Soundgarden Returns To Hometown Crowd

After a 13 year absence and 6 months of reports of a reunion. It's official! Soundgarden is back. Scheduled to headline this years Lollapalooza festival in Chicago, and pulling off a last minute show under the guise of Nude Dragons at Showbox last Friday in Seattle. It sounds like it was an awesome show, opening it up with Spoonman and ripping out a few other staples such as Rusty Cage, Outshined, and Black Hole Sun. Photo's from The National Arboretum last weekend. What a beautiful place. We spent two hours there and didn't even cover half of what there is to see. The Azalea's are about to be in full bloom so get down there soon. You can enter from New York avenue (Rt 50) just before Bladensburg rd if you're heading into the city, or Bladensburg road and R st NE.

DC Cherry Blossoms and Nationals- Red Sox Game 4-3-2010 - Cosmic Vibes - Picasa Web Albums

Here are some photos from the DC cherry blossoms, waterfront fish market and marina, and Washington Nationals game last Saturday.  If you are heading down to DC for a game. Head down early and check out some museums and other sites on the mall before hand. It's only a 2 mile walk from the mall along the waterfront, just follow the signs to stadium.
