Emergence @ Ragtime

Hello friends,

Our first gig at Dogwood was a success. I have received the audio from the show. I have not had a chance to listen to it yet, but I have been told that it sounds great. I will be posting the audio to my blog and the Emergence myspace page soon.

We will be playing at http://www.ragtimerestaurant.com/

Come out and support us and dance with your friends for our second gig at a great place to see live music.

Hope to see you there

We're nothing without Friends and Family

I have been away for a while. I have not felt inspired to write about much lately after the passing of my mom. It has been the toughest 3 weeks of my life. I am heartbroken, and it's hard everyday. I just wanted to take a few minutes to say thank you to all of my wonderful friends and family who have supported our family through this toughest time. Without of you we could not have made it through. The list of people who came through for us is astonishing. People from every aspect and time periods of our lives came out with love and open arms to us. You all know who you are and what you did for us whether it was flowers, food, cards, phone calls or even emails and facebook messages all of it helps and we are truly grateful for your kindness.

If there is one thing I learned and that is positive that came out of all of this, it was a tremendous bonding experience for my family and I and for friends that I may not see or talk to anymore because of where I live. Well that's no excuse. I feel that it has made my family and I stronger and gave us more will to live and be free and do the things that we love to do. Life is fragile and you cannot take it for granted because one second your here and the next you could be gone. Those friends that you don't talk to anymore because you're too busy, give them a call. That relative that you don't talk to anymore because they're different than you, give them a call. Work out your differences and accept them for who they are because someday they're not going to be here anymore and you're going to wish you had.

peace and love
