NIN/Jane's Addiction Tour/Lollapalooza 2009

Happy Spring:)

If you read this blog you know by now that Jane's Addiction is back together with it's original line up for the first time in 17 years. Also the first time these two bands (NIN/Jane's)have shared a bill since the first Lollapalooza in 1991. Monday of this week kicked off the pre sales in most cities around the country. Today the band heads to Austin Texas to play another private show, for invited fans only at the SXSW festival. This will be ther fourth show since the bands recent reconception, and the first outside it's home town of Los Angelas

It's safe to say that my Jane's Addiction Addiction has kicked into high gear. This is an exciting time for me and many other people just like me across the country who share the love for Jane's Addiction and as well as fans who share the same love for NIN and Trent Reznor. The ticket prices were a little high, however it is a three band bill with three solid performers. NIN/Jane's, and Tom Morello's (of Rage and Audioslave) new project Street Sweeper. That being said I heard today on the radio that it's $140 to see Def Leppard at Jones Beach which, in my opinion is a rip off.

The Lollapalooza line up should be out by April 1st, so far Janes addiction/Depeche Mode/Beastie Boys and Kings of Leon are confirmed headliners. Last years Lollapalooza sold 225,000 tickets over the three day weekend. The most out of all festivals last summer. I've already secured my ticket by purchasing a Lollapalooza Golden Ticket of which 1000 were released on the internet for $60. Regular price tickets are around $200 for a weekend pass. Stay tuned for more line up information. Tips on the festival, inside information and more as the festival gets closer. This is a great festival in a great city. It's going to be lots of fun for all who attend.

Can't wait for Kidzapalooza http://www.kidzapalooza.com/
Play and enjoy Music often!
